Edwin C. Haase was born June 12, 1951 in Chicago to Raymond C. and Margaret C. (nee Kirchhoff) Haase. He passed from this life on July 29, 2018.
Ed was a retired Lieutenant with the Hoffman Estates Fire Department and retired deputy Chief at Prospect Heights FD. His passion for his work as a firefighter lasted long after his retirement and was shared with all those he loved. He will forever be missed by the many hearts he touched.
Ed is survived by his wife Wendy (Smetters/Swanson) Haase; and by 7 children; several grandchildren; aunt, Dorothy Kirchhoff Fill; and several cousins.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents.
