Elaine F Rozzano

Resident of Azpira Assistant Living in Lake Zurich and previously of Wheeling and Prospect Heights.

Elaine Rozzano was born on December 22, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to Allen and Margaret (nee Steiner) Cunningham. She passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 surrounded by two of her loving daughters at Azpira Place of Lake Zurich.

Elaine worked for 23 years as a Secretary for Commonwealth Edison.

She was a member of St. Alphonsus Church.

Elaine enjoyed spending time with her Family, going out to eat, shopping, sitting in the sunshine and especially enjoying her chocolate ice cream or chocolate malt.

Elaine is survived by her children Denise (Martin) Johnson, Sandy (John) Moro, Colette (late Jim) Punda, Fran (Craig) Corcoran, John (Angela) Rozzano and Patrick (Scott Perkins) Rozzano; her grandchildren Kristen (Adam ), Valerie (William), Steve, Michael (Heather), Danny, Dominique, Anthony (Lisa), Joey (fiancé Hali), Kira (Alberto), Stephanie, Christopher (Kaitlin), Ryan (Hannah), Dominic and Gianna as well as many great-grandchildren. She was also survived by her late daughter Margaret’s significant other John Benzinger.

She was preceded in death by her spouse of 23 years Dominic Rozzano, her daughter Margaret (late Jim) Berndt, her parents as well as her sister Bernice Cunningham.

In consideration of current health concerns and guidance, Elaine’s interment at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines will be private and a Memorial Mass will be planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Journey Care and St. Jude.
