She died December 7, 2016 at Villa St. Benedict in Lisle.Eleonor began her flourishing art career at the age of 62." She is a member of The Arlington Heights Art League, The Elmhurst Guild, The Lake Legion Watercolor Guild, The Arlington Heights Art Guild, The Lake County Art League and has been recognized for her distinctive approach to color and texture." Prior to her art career, she was an executive secretary and business owner." But her most important role was being a mother and grandmother to her three children, 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.Eleonor is survived by her children Linda (Michael) Davis, Michael (Susan) Bock and Steve (Linda) Bock; her grandchildren Deborah (Ronald) Schmidt, Renee (Wesley) Carder, Jeffrey (Judith) Davis, Timothy (Kerry) Davis, Daniel (Sheri) Davis, Thomas (Elizabeth) Bock, Jessica (Joshua) Haines, Rebecca (Ritesh) Banerjee and Kate (Kevin) Schuster; great grandmother of Alex, Danielle, Hayden, Dakota, Andrew, Madeline, Hunter, Breeanna, Jacob, Rory, Matthew, Luke, Samuel, Joseph, Norah and Patrick.Eleonor is preceded in death by her husband Eugene J. Bock; her siblings Leonard (late Rose) Cieslak, Chester (late Mary) Cieslak and Sanfer (late Vince) Schumacher.Visitation Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 9:00 AM until the time of funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004."
