Eugene A. Schoenbeck

Eugene A. “Gene” Schoenbeck, 85, of Arlington Heights was born April 8, 1929 in Arlington Heights to the late Arthur and Pearl (nee Scharringhausen) Schoenbeck and passed away September 28, 2014. Gene was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served in the Korean War. Gene was the beloved husband of the late Ruth nee Roloff; loving father of David (Ellen) Schoenbeck, Dale (Mary) Schoenbeck and Daniel (Michele) Schoenbeck; cherished grandfather of Katy, Caryn, Christoph, Tom (Krysta), Paul (Mary Kate), Michael, Emily, Maggie, Ann Marie and Renee; great-grandfather of Olivia and Jack and dear brother of Carolyn “Joy” (late Robert) Reptowski and the late Jack (late Lorraine) Schoenbeck. Gene will also be greatly missed by his loving caregiver and partner for 7 years Joan Parker. Visitation will be Friday, October 3, 2014 from 3-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway and Saturday, October 4 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service 1:00 PM.
