Evelyn Marie Kay was born on December 31, 1939, in Chicago to Raymond and Ann (nee Fisher) Konrath. She died Monday, July 26, 2022, in Arlington Heights.

Evelyn worked as a travel agent for Travel Duet in Deerfield for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Edna Catholic Church and previously served as Parish Secretary before she became a travel agent. Evelyn was also a Eucharistic Minister at St. Edna Catholic Church. She enjoyed golfing, walking around Lake Arlington and spending time with her friends. Evelyn loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and was loved by all.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Jennifer) Kay, Jr., Thomas (Amanda) Kay, Michael (Sheila) Kay and James Kay; grandchildren, Alexandria Kay, Michael Kay, Chloe Kay, Nora Kay, Juliana Kay, Emma Kay, Maisy Kay and Katelyn Kay; brother, Raymond (Sandy) Konrath and several nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kay, Sr; her parents; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Callahan.

Visitation Monday, August 1, 2022, from 9:00 am until the 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment is private.
