Floyd Bernard Heppner

Of Arlington Heights 

Floyd B. Heppner was born on July 24, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois to Bernard and Marie (nee Seitz) Heppner. He died Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights. 

Mr. Heppner was a model maker for Zenith Electronics Corporation for 28 years before retiring. He served in the Army Corps of Engineers from 1959 until 1961.

Floyd is survived by his children Janet R.(Jim) DeVino, Glenn A. (Amy) Heppner, Susan E. (Steven) Crane and Karen L. (Dwayne) Wood; and his grandchildren, Keith, Craig, Jeff, Grace, Sam, Alex and Madison.  Also survived by his brother Don (Robin) Heppner, Linda Mueller, Bernette Schuy, and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilynn Heppner (nee Battle) and his parents.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday, August 11, 2017, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Funeral Service 11:00 am Saturday, August 12, 2017, at the Funeral Home. Interment Memory Gardens.
