Francesca La Scala was born on April 11, 1936, in Sicily, Italy to the late Michael and Rosa (nee Ciancimino) Custode. She died Friday, April 30, 2021, at her home.
She was the beloved wife of the late Pietro; loving mother of Mario, and Frances and the late Rosa (Frank) Spilotro; cherished grandmother of Vanessa & Erica Spilotro; dear sister of Frank (Barbara) Custode and Josephine (Bill) Raimondi, the late Bella Fontana and Jerry (Jeanne) Custode. Francesca is also survived by her loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Committal service 2:00 pm, Friday, May 7, 2021, at All Saints Community Mausoleum, East Chapel, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, Illinois.
