Frank Ronald Bischof

Frank Ronald Bischof, 87, was born on December 23, 1936, in Chicago, IL to Frank and Dorothy (nee Waterloo) Bischof. He died Monday, January 8, 2024, in Lake Zurich, IL.

After graduating from The University of Notre Dame in 1958, Frank served in the U.S. Army for two years. He then pursued a successful career as an appraiser in the Cook County Assessor's office. Frank was a member of the Appraisal Institute, the Illinois Association of Appraisal Officers, and the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers.He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, embodying the values of faith, unity, and charity, as also served as a Loyal Knight at the Elks Club in Des Plaines.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara (nee Ryan) Bischof; his son, Michael (Tracy); his grandchildren, Carter, Matthew, and Lauren; and his nieces, Pamela (Dave) Fricano and Deborah (William) Jourdan.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia; his parents; and his sister Sandra (Richard) Binney.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 10, 2024, at St. Anne Catholic Community, 120 N. Ela Street, Barrington, IL 60010.
