Frank William "Bill" McLaughlin was born September 19, 1924 in Chicago to Frank William and Helen Therese (nee Connelly) McLaughlin.
Mr. McLaughlin served in the United States Army, Office of Strategic Services, during WW II. Soon after WW II, he started a 40 year career with Motorola, retiring in 1989.
Bill is survived by his children, Kathleen McLaughlin, F. William (Sharon) McLaughlin and Thomas (Kathie) McLaughlin; his grandchildren, Jenna, Scott, Julie (Kyle), Patrick, Terence (Anne), Daniel, Katelyn, Carla (John) and Michael (Sara); and his seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Helen (nee Melvin) McLaughlin; his parents; his sister Helen (Ray) Lovitt; and his daughter Mary Patricia (Donald) Koller.
Visitation from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am, Monday, October 10, 2022 at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
