George K. Anagnostopoulos, 83, of Arlington Heights was born December 25, 1932 in Chicago to Konstadin and Georgia Anagnostopoulos and passed away May 23, 2016. George was the beloved husband of Angie A. (nee Anton); loving father of Cary G. (Wendee) Anagnostopoulos; cherished grandfather of Olivia and Ava and dear brother of Steve (Connie) Anagnostopoulos, Fran Anagnostopoulos, Frieda Anagnostopoulos and the late Catherine (Dale) Kessler and Stash (Christine) Anagnostopoulos. Visitation will be Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 3- 8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Friends are asked to gather at 9:45 AM on Friday, May 27 at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 E. Dempster Street, Des Plaines for funeral service at 10:00 AM. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
