Helen F. Johnson (nee Redker) 88, of Prospect Heights. Born August 18, 1926 to Elmer and Emma (nee Groneman) Redker and passed away May 25, 2015 at home. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Alex C. Johnson; loving mother of Eric E. (Deborah L.) Johnson; dear grandmother of Rachel R. (Azael) Salgado, Nathan W. and Hannah N. Johnson and great grandmother of Caylee. Fond sister of Edward (Rose) Redker and Irene (Richard) Umbach; also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday May 29 from 3- 9 pm at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, IL. Helen will lie in state 9 am until the time of the service at 10 am on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 202 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, IL. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
