Ignacio Charles Jr. passed away suddenly on January 28, 2024, in Des Plaines, IL. He was born on November 2, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois to Ignacio C. Cordova Sr. and Susana Cordova.

He is survived by his mother Susana Cordova, his daughter Desi Cordova and his sisters Susie (Eric) Gegner and Cindy (Dave) Pelrine. His nieces and nephew Bridget Pelrine, Caleigh Pelrine and David Pelrine, Jr. His uncle Carlos Basantes, and his cousins Monica Acevedo, Carlos Basantes, Pedro Basantes and Luis Basantes and many second and third cousins.

Ignacio is preceded in death by...his late father, his grandmothers, Concepcion Suarez, & Maria Basantes, his aunt Julia Baqueriso, his cousin Daniel Guedes, his grandfather Jose E. Basantes, Gonzalo Basantes his great-grandmother Mariana Aulestia Hurtado and his great-grandfather Ignacio C. Cordova

Memorial Visitation on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 9:00am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. James Catholic Church 831 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.
