Jacob Joe Muller was born on February 18, 2008 in Chicago, IL to Matthew and Susan (Goin) Muller. He died Tuesday, August 10, 2021.

Jake had a passion for listening to and playing music, cuddles with Mom, taking Ivy for walks, watching the Cubs with Dad, and most of all being with his big sister Kate. He loved visiting family and hanging with his cousins. Although non-verbal, Jake expressed himself in a multitude of ways with his sweet disposition, laughter and side-eye. All that knew him fell in love instantly with his charm and handsome little face. As his sister so eloquently wrote, "Words can't describe how I feel right now. You are the strongest person I know Jake. No one deserves to go through what you did, but through it all, you made it look easy. I strive to one day be as brave, loving and strong as you. Love you forever buddy."

Jake is survived by his parents Matt & Susan Muller of Arlington Heights, IL; sister Kate Muller of Arlington Heights, IL; great-grandmother Rita Hopkins of Rockwall, TX; grandparents Denny & Judy Muller of Altoona, IA; grandparents Randy & Martha Goin of Evansville, IN; grandmother Joan Harrison of Green Valley, AZ; Aunt Lynn & Uncle Jim Weed; Aunt Jenn & Uncle Slade Forker; Aunt Amy & Uncle Pete Johannsen; Aunt Holly & Uncle John Muller; Aunt Lauren & Uncle Dan Muller. He is survived by many cousins, family, friends and especially his dog Ivy.

Jake is preceded in death by his Aunt Leslea Goin of Carmi, IL.

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd, 1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Remembrance Service to follow at 4:00pm at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1234 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL.
