James “Jim” R. Eisenmann, 84, of Arlington Heights, IL, formerly of Wilmette, IL, Potomac, MD, Westfield, NJ, and Oak Park, IL, passed away on November 27, 2025. He was born on March 4, 1941, in Oak Park, IL, the son of Marion and Roland Eisenmann.
Jim spent his career as an insurance and risk management executive. He began working for CNA Insurance in Chicago, which took him to New York City in 1967. Jim then began working for Marsh & McLennan, Inc., which eventually took him to Washington, D.C., in 1984. He later returned to his roots in Illinois and finished his career working for Aon Global Professional Services.
Jim had a long-time interest in Democratic politics and was elected to the Westfield Town Council for one term in the mid-1970’s. He was also an avid golfer his entire life. In retirement, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, more golfing, painting and traveling. Jim received a B.A. in English Literature from Loyola University Chicago in 1963.
Jim is survived by his children, Jim Eisenmann, Tom Eisenmann, Dan (Erin) Eisenmann, Kate (Robert) Cabral, Victoria Eisenmann, and John Eisenmann; grandchildren, Griffin, Kristofer, Kelly, Amelia, Vassily, Mateo, Yevdokia, and Nina; and his sister, Peggy Stewart.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Roland Eisenmann; sisters, Susan Eisenmann and Joanne Price; daughter-in-law, Yuliya Eisenmann; and brother-in-law, Phil Stewart.
