James A. Hendrickson

James A. Hendrickson was born on March 10, 1927, in Worthington, MN to Carl and Julia (nee Green) Hendrickson. He died Sunday, October 10, 2021, in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Hendrickson worked as a Market Research Consultant for A.C. Nielsen Inc. in Northbrook for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Edna Catholic Church In Arlington Heights. James loved golfing, travel, sports and a good thriller. He also enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play various sports.

James is survived by his daughters, Julie D'Argo and Mary (Alex Gibson) Hendrickson; grandchildren, James and Rachel D'Argo; brother-in-law, Gordy Hanson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn; his parents; sisters, Betty Johnson (nee Hendrickson), and Judy Hanson (nee Hendrickson).

Visitation Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Visitation 9:00 am, Friday, October 15, 2021, until the 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment is private.
