James is survived by his son, James Donald Rommel; his mother, Barbara M. Green; his brother, Gregory D. (Tina) Rommel; his grandfather, Donald L. Green; his nieces, Ashley & Maggie Rommel; his brother-In-Law, Jay Hoffman; his aunts, Debbie (Burdette) Potts, Cathy Solger, and Mary (Robert) Weltmer and his uncles, Don (Patty) and Bill (Maddie) Green; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanine Marie Rommel; his father, James Steven Rommel; and his grandmother Joan Green.
Visitation from 3:00 pm until time of funeral service at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Interment private.
