James E. “Jim” Scrivner, 77, passed away on March 24, 2026. He was the loving father of Tracy (Joey) Rambo, Kellene (Steven) Burke, and Patrick Scrivner; grandfather of Amanda Moody and the late Lauren Mc Kee; son of the late John and Vessie. Jim was the dear brother of the late John Wayne (Sharon), the late Don (late Julie), the late Toney (Honey), the late Vivian (Barry) Potts, the late Benny (late Danita), Rosey (Barry) Dunagan, Alice (Bobby) Shivers. He was also a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his former wife, Pamela, with whom he shared many years. Jim dedicated over 20 years as a loyal employee with A&P and went on to have a successful career as a salesman with Ilco for another 20 years. He proudly served his country in the Vietnam War and was an active member of the VFW, where he enjoyed spending time with friends. Those who knew him best will remember his as a kind, generous, and willing to help anyone who needed it. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
