Jean M. Beal

Jean M. Beal was born on July 29, 1918 in Hawarden, Iowa to Russell and Laura (nee Miller) Metcalf. She died Monday, October 22, 2018 at Lutheran Home & Services in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Mrs. Beal was a homemaker and was a member of Pi Beta Phi and PEO. She was also an avid fisherman, golfer, tennis player, bridge player and reader.

Jean is survived by her children Carolyn (Richard) Brown, Richard (Elizabeth) Beal; her grandchildren David (Kristen) Brown, Daniel (Kimberly) Brown, Kathleen (Gregory) Domsten, Christopher (Tessa) Beal and David (Carla) Beal and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin S. Beal, her parents, as well as her sister Louise (late Roman) Braun and brothers Russell Metcalf and William Metcalf.

Memorial Service on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:30am at St. John the Beloved Chapel at the Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to The Lutheran Home.
