Jean is also survived by her grandchildren Tyler (Julie) Rossdeutcher, Julia (Brian) Cruse, Emily (Scott) Phillips, Melanie (Joey) Campos, Robert Rossdeutcher, Blake Rossdeutcher, Brian (fiance Samantha Mahon) Rossdeutcher, and Carly Rossdeutcher. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Ethan, Cameron, Levi, Lyla, Addison, Lily, Carter, Chloe, and 1 more great-grandchild on the way, as well as many other family members who she adored.
Jean grew up in DePere, WI and found her way to Chicago, where she met and married her husband Bob. Jean and Bob raised their 3 boys in Arlington Heights, and they always had a welcoming house to the friends of their boys. Their friends would say that Jean treated them like family. Family was very important to Jean, and she always enjoyed the family reunions and often helped to organize the event. Jean frequently attended her grandchildren’s sporting and other events as often as she could, when they were younger. She always enjoyed rooting the kids on in their events. More recently she has attended their weddings and met her great-grandkids.
Jean was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, and was even able to convert some of the grandchildren to Packer fans, which was quite a feat in Bear country.
Although Jean will be missed, we are comforted knowing that Jean is in heaven doing a “One and Done” with Bob, Bob and Kevin!
Instead of sending flowers, please consider making a donation in Jean’s memory to Team Rossi, by contacting [email protected], which is a scholarship fund established by the Rossdeutcher family, or any donation of your choice.
And Jean’s favorite color was purple. Feel free to wear something purple for Jean.
Arrangements are pending.
