Beloved wife of the late Robert Sampson, loving mother of Robert P. (Pam) Sampson, Patricia (the late Dennis) Harkness, and Kathleen (Ken) Kortge; proud grandmother of Erin (Tim) Conrad, Dale Harkness, Elizabeth (Jimmy) Green, Emily Sampson, Justin Kortge, Karen Kortge, the late Katy and Philip Sampson; great grandmother of Miles Green, Archer Green, Hannah Cates, Noah Rickman, Mary Beth Garcia, and Xander Harkness; fond sister of Peggy Small and Bill Wilson.

Private services will be held at Lauterburg Oehler Funeral Home, Arlington Heights. Jean will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
