He died peacefully, surrounded by his family, Sunday, April 24, 2016 in Park Ridge.James worked as a sales representative for various companies in the Midwest. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mt. Prospect." Jim was a football star at Hammond High School in Hammond, IN and was very proud of his Indiana University education where he received his Bachelor"s Degree. He was an avid fisherman, car enthusiast, story teller, "movie buff", and Motown music lover. Jim overcame various obstacles throughout his life. He was a huge "Family Man" and was loved by all.Jim is survived by his spouse of 21 years, Lynn (nee Dinkelkamp); his children, Natalie (Michael) Biehl, Sarah Fisher and Rachel Fisher; grandson, Samuel "Sammy" Biehl; mother, Lillian Fisher; siblings, Ed (Karen) Fisher, Jr., Larry Fisher, Maryann Iraclianos and Nancy (Kevin) Kukurugya; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father.Visitation Friday, April 29, 2016" from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL" 60004.
