Joan M. Raupp was born on April 20, 1936, in Evanston to Frank and Virginia (nee Clark) Steffen. She died Sunday, June 28, 2020, at Waverly Inn in Arlington Heights.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Richard) Barnett; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Colleen, Laura, and Mitchell Barnett; siblings, Frances "Jim" Steffen, and Patricia Philips; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Margaret Sullivan, Frederick (Carla) Raupp, Matthias (Margo) Raupp, Mary Ann Nolen, Louis (Maggie) Raupp, Frances (Ron) Richert, Janice (Dave) Geffert, Ellen (James) Bierman and Annette (David) Whitney; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William C.; her son, William Clark Raupp; her parents; sisters, Virginia "Ginny" Turk and Susan Koehler; and her brothers-in-law, Henry and James Raupp. Visitation Monday, July 6, 2020, from 9:00 am until prayers at 10:15 am at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004, proceeding to St. Mary Parish, 10 North Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 for Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
