He died Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois.Jack worked as a litigation attorney and mental health advocate for over 50 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, philosopher, debater and dreamer.Jack is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean (nee Godzicki); his daughter, Tara Alfonso, his son-in-law Orlando Alfonso; his grandchildren, Annora Alfonso and Michael Alfonso; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Evan "Kevin" Gill, his sister, Mary Gill, brother, Thomas (Kaye) Gill, and sister, Eileen (the late Walter) Krause.Funeral services will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Second City Canine Rescue, P.O.
