Jose Francisco Mata Ayala, Jr. was born on April 23, 1996, in Arlington Heights, Illinois to Jose F. Ayala and Yvette (Mata) Ayala. He died Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Chicago.

Jose was a former construction worker/entrepreneur. He was a loving son and brother. Jose always looked for the brighter side of life and the cherished all the small things of life. Jose was such an outgoing person that he would always manage to make a friend anywhere he went. He loved life - every day was an adventure for him, always looking forward to seeing what the day would hold for him.

Jose is survived by his mother, Yvette R. (Victor) Ayala-Hernandez, his father, Jose F. Ayala; his sister, Felicity E. Ayala-Mata, and his brother, Sebastian Ayala-Mata.

Visitation Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 3:00 pm until the time of his funeral service at 7:00 pm, at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois.
