She passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2014 in Elk Grove Village.Kathryn lived a full life dedicated to her faith and her family.Kathryn is survived by her children, Barbara (Damon) Honaker, Bernard Widera, Michael (Shanna) Widera, Maureen (Patrick) O'Malley and John (Toni) Widera; grandchildren, Patrick, Erin, Claire, and Jack O'Malley and Mary and Michael Widera.She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard E. Widera; her parents; and her sister, Rose Koller.Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 am Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Funeral Home, proceeding to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 am.
