Of Arlington Heights
Konstantinos Theoharis was born on October 20, 1935, in Desfina, Greece to Athanasios and Lemonia (nee Not Available) Theoharis. He died Friday, May 21, 2021.
Konstantinos, also known by his friends as Gus, was born and raised in Greece. After having served in the army, he met and married his wife Popi and moved to America. Gus was a kind, hardworking man, with a big heart, who never met a stranger and always had a good story or anecdote.
Before retiring, Gus was a tool & die maker for almost 50 years. He enjoyed hunting, having animated conversations on current events with his family and friends, watching his cowboy westerns, cooking, watching the Greek news, feeding squirrels through the kitchen window, and cutting a rug on the Greek dance floor. But above all, he was a beloved father and husband who loved spending time with his family, whom he loved deeply.
Konstantinos is survived by his wife of 57 years Popi; his daughter, Linda Theoharis, and his son, Ike Theoharis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
