Lisa Muraca

Lisa Muraca, 84, was born in Italy. She died Monday, July 11, 2022 with her family. Lisa immigrated to the United States with her parents and brothers from Italy. She returned to Italy to wed her husband Joseph. They raised their family surrounded by close relatives and friends in Chicago. Lisa was kind, caring and loving to all and she inspired everyone to be the same. She was an angel on earth and is now an angel in heaven. Her loss will be felt by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Lisa is survived by her children: Elizabeth and Frank (Laura) Muraca, and grandchildren: Christine Evola, Francesca, Gabriela, Alexandra and Maria Muraca. She is predeceased by her devoted husband Joseph, her loving parents Joseph and Frances Mete, and caring brothers Anthony (Erika) and Frank Mete.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Hts. Rd., Arlington Hts. (masks requested) Prayers at 11:15 am, Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 12:00 pm. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines; luncheon to follow, Club Casa Café banquet room.
