Lois E. PayetteOf GlenviewLois E. Payette was born on October 16, 1928 in Chicago to George and Edna (nee Knopp) Stuhlfauth. She died Monday, September 28, 2015 at Lutheran Home Services in Arlington Heights.Lois worked as a teacher for Hynes Elementary School in Golf, IL. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1850 Chestnut, Glenview where she was active in the LWMEL, sang in the Church Choir and taught Sunday School. She loved to collectdolls and watch old movies. Lois loved to spend time with her family, especially enjoying her children's musical talents, and was loved by all.Lois is survived by her sons, Charles (Kathleen) Payette, George (Sylvia) Payette, and John "Jay" (Lynn) Payette, Ill; grandchildren, Heather Payette, Andrew Payette, Elise Payette, Cecelia Payette, Anneliese(Joseph ) Gumm, Alexander (Stephanie) Spier and Aric Spier; great-grandchildren , Benjamin Gumm, Evangeline Gumm, Aaron Gumm and Elise Spier.She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; sister, Blanche Smith and best friend, Dolly Lump.Visitation Thursday , October 1, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. In-State 10:00 am Friday, October 2, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1850 Chestnut Avenue , Glenview, IL 60025 until the 11:00 am FuneralService.
