Louis John Puglisi

Louis John Puglisi was born on August 12, 1942 in Italy to Michaele and Lea (nee Lendon) Puglisi. He died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Northwest Community Hospital/JourneyCare Hospice.

Mr. Puglisi worked as a ramp service technician for United Airlines at O'Hare International Airport for over 37 years. He Served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Louis is survived by his wife of 37 years, Rosa nee Tamburo; his sons, Michael (Nicole) Puglisi and Robert (Jennifer) Puglisi; his granddaughter, Paige Puglisi; his sister Alda (Frank) Houlihan, and his brothers Alfio (Lucia) Puglisi and Joseph A. Puglisi; his many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, John (survived by Debbie) Puglisi and his sister-in-law Karen Puglisi.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Prayers 9:15 am, Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from Glueckert Funeral Home, proceeding to St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, Illinois for Mass at 10:00 am. Entombment All Saints Mausoleum, Des Plaines, Illinois.
