Margaret O. Fletcher was born September 13, 1921 in Elk Point, SD, to Francis and Clara (nee Simons) Mackey." She died May 10, 2016 in Des Plaines.Margaret worked for GTE for over 25 years and was past President of the American Legion Women"s Auxiliary in Des Plaines.Margaret is survived by her children Patricia (Gary) Yezefski; her grandchildren Zachary D. (Mary-Beth) Fletcher and Erin Margaret (Adam) Ejnik, Candace Beranek, Amanda Beranek, Thais (Scott) Fletcher Alexander; her great-grandchildren Celeste, Rhys, Sam, Clara, Elli Margaret and Max and by her sister Ruth Ann Asmussen and by many nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Roland Fletcher; her children Francis "Dan" (Jo Ann) Fletcher, Kenneth (Dorothy) Fletcher and Connie Piepenburg; four siblings and by her parents.Visitation Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N.
