She died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Maryhaven Nursing Home in Glenview, Illinois.Before retiring Mrs. Kroes was a bookkeeper. She was a volunteer at Danish Old Peoples Home and St. Matthews Nursing HomeMargaret is survived by her children Roger A. (Lauri) Kroes, Karen M. (Keith) Ullberg, and Stephen A. (Rebecca) Kroes; her nine grandchildren; and her brother, Hans (Lois) Karkow.She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Walter (Joan) Karkow.Visitation from 4:00 until 9:00 pm, Friday, November 4, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Funeral service 9:00 am, Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, 25225 W. Ivanhoe Road, Wauconda, Illinois, 60084.
