Marie FittonOf Arlington HeightsMarie Fitton was born July 29, 1932 in Pelham, NY to Harold and Marie (nee Mitchell) Langdon. She passed away peacefully March 28, 2015, surrounded by her family at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village.Marie married Russell P. Fitton Jr. at St. Catherine"s Church in Pelham, NY. She was an active member of St. James Parish. She worked at the St. James School office and at volunteer projects at St. James donut day, basketball and care ministry. She was a member of St. James Women"s Club and St. James Women"s Golf League. She was also a care minister at St. John Capistran in Pittsburgh, PA. Marie, Russell and family lived in Cleveland, OH, Arlington Heights, IL, Pittsburgh, PA and again in Arlington Heights.Marie is survived by her children Dr. Russell P. (Pam) Fitton III, William J. (Julie) Fitton, Michael H. (Linda) Fitton, Maureen T. (Tim) Fitton Shevlin and James T. (Paige) Fitton; her grandchildren Dr. Russell P. Fitton IV, John A. Fitton, Patrick W. Fitton, Megan Marie (Matt) Gavin, Michael H. Fitton, Jr. and Marie E. Fitton, James T. Fitton, Jr., William C. Fitton, and Mitchell C. Fitton.Marie was preceded in death by her husband Russell P. Fitton, Jr. and by her parents.Visitation Tuesday March 31, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM.
