Marilyn Florence Schauer, 90, was born on March 6, 1933, in Chicago, IL to Herman and Martha (nee Treptow) Freese. She died Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Shepherd Premier Senior Living, in Crystal Lake.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Sally (Jeff) Owen, her son, Michael (Vicki) Schauer: her son's-in-law, Martin Landwehr and Brian Seidl; and her grandchildren, Lauren (Rob) Dion, Kelsey (Fiancee Lily Wirth) Schauer, and Mathew Seidl

She is preceded in death by her husband, William; her daughters, Wendy Landwehr and Kimberly Seidl, her sister Marjorie, her brother Arnold and her parents.

A Memorial/Celebration of Life will be held at Kingswood United Methodist Church 401 W Dundee Rd, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 on Friday December 29, 2023, visitation 2:30 pm with Celebration of Marilyn's Life at 4:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Kingswood U M C Buffalo grove or St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 24500 N Old McHenry Rd., Hawthorn Woods, IL 60047
