Marion J. Staley

Marion Staley, devoted Wife, 99, passed away on May 16, 2024. Marion was born in Sheboygan, WI to Henry and Anna Kruis on November 21, 1924. Marion married Robert Staley of Amsterdam, NY on October 10, 1953, in Cedar Grove, WI. They celebrated 61 years of marriage.

Mrs. Staley was a teacher of physically handicapped students for School District 25 for over 30 years before retiring. Active member of the Arlington Heights Garden Club and volunteered for many years at Northwest Community Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her son, Thomas; her parents; and her siblings Herman, Lester, Jake, and Henry Kruis, and Lillian Smith.

Marion is survived by sons Robert and Jonathan (Jackie); her grandchildren, Shannon, Sarah, and Ethan; and her sisters Betty Erickson, La Verne Soerens, and Irene Schmitt.

Visitation from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, followed by Funeral Service at 6:00 pm, Monday, May 20, 2024, at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
