To Father Becker,

Mary Alice was a dear friend and next-door neighbor on Hickory Avenue. I will always hear the heavenly sound of her hearty laugh bouncing across our driveways. She was a great wife, mom, teacher, friend, neighbor. My family was blessed beyond words to live next door to the Beckers for almost twenty years.

Charlie! I am so sorry for your loss.  I lost my mom on Easter Sunday, so I truly know what you are going through. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I will always treasure the good times me and my family had with the Beckers. The camping trips were lots of fun and every time I think about all the laughter, by jaw starts to hurt. Mary Alice will always live in my heart. She was an amazing woman and an even more amazing mom. All my love to the whole Becker Clan.

Such fond memories I have of your mom and grandmother!  She was an inspiration to so many students, staff members, parents - and to me.  Especially during some of the endless meetings we held in creating and then implementing programs for high ability students.  Her humor, her laughter, her love of life and her care for students will always be remembered.

Charlie and family;  growing up at 'James I didn't get to know your Mom, however, I use to run into her at Mass at different times, she was a wonderful woman, she knew we were classmates, and she always had a smile on her face..... Your Mom and Dad are now at peace together..... and that is comforting in itself..... hope you find solace in knowing your Mom has touched many lives..... and mine was one of them.....
