Thank you for everything you have done for me and the love you showed me Mary Kay. You were  truly an incredible person with a beautiful heart and mind. I will miss your witty jokes, your funny articles you would share with us and your warm bright smile and company. You had a lot of love and wisdom to give and you showed us that everyday.  Although you were born in Florida,  from your awesome taste in cars, sports and food, you were a true Chicagoan! Kind, smart, warm and caring.  The way you treated me and the bond we shared will always live with me forever and I consider you my Grand Mother. I will always remember the love  you showed my family and I. I love you Mary Kay and I wish you peace. Your Neighbor and Grandson, Doruk.

Mary Kay's birthday. I was lucky to have 3 grandparents there at the same time!

I met Mary Kay when she came to work at Tempel Steel Co.  back in 1973 or 4.  We became fast friends and enjoyed our lunches together and also got together with my husband Don and me for day trips.  I really remember her quick witted humor, she always made me laugh.  I enjoyed her friendship with her at work until I left Tempel in 1987, then again until we moved to Florida in 1995.   Rest peacefully my dear friend, you deserve that.  You will be missed.
   PS  My Husband and MK celebrated the month Oct. for their  birthdays.  He passed away on my birthday in Nov. 2021, they got along quite well, she called him Donny.  love to you, Lorrie Krenek
