Mary Patricia McGinn

Of Arlington Heights

Mary Patricia McGinn was born December 3, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY to Felix and Anna (nee Dowd) Oakes.  She died September 15, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Aurora.   

Mary is survived by her children Robert (Nina), David (Diana), John (Christine), Michael (Chrissy) and Mary (Bill) Gannon; her grandchildren Anthony, Ashley (Alfred), Jessie, Derek, Dominick, Nico, Francesca, Gabriella, Julianna, Katherine and Caroline; her sister Rosalie (late George) Martin.   

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Robert G. McGinn; her son Richard G. McGinn; her siblings John, Anne, Lester, Paul, Vincent, Robert, Donald and Joseph and by her parents. 

Visitation Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights.  Prayers 8:45 am, Monday, September 25, 2017 at Glueckert Funeral Home to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights, for mass at 9:30.  Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
