She lost her battle with cancer on Friday, July 31, 2015. "We are grateful for the loving treatment under Hospice care.Maureen was Past President of the Park Ridge Manor Women's Club, a member of the St. James Women's Golf League and a volunteer at Misericordia Home for Children.She is survived by her husband Paul Daniel Krause; daughter, Hollie Newman; 6 step children; 20 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Longtime friend, Bill W.Maureen was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Newman; her daughter, Laurie Newman; her brother, William O'Grady; and her stepson, Paul W. Krause.Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday, August 3, 2015 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.
