Maureen M. Sheehan, 88 of Arlington Heights was born May 31, 1923 in Louisville, KY to the late James and Catherine (nee Whalen) Mullaney and passed away July 6, 2011 at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights. Maureen was the beloved wife of John R. Sheehan; loving mother of Timothy J. (Marta), Terrence J. (Anne), Sue (Jim) Szymczak and Kevin D. (Tina) Sheehan; cherished grandmother of Tom, Dan (Ellen), Bridget, Erin (Scott) Paulson, Patrick (Katie), John (Jennifer), Michael Szymczak, Steven Szymczak, Sarah Szymczak, Collin, Breanna and Rachel Sheehan; greatgrandmother of Jack, Kate, Connor, Aidan and Nora; dear sister of James Mullaney. Visitation will be Friday July 8, 2011 from 4-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home 2000 E. Northwest Hwy. Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said Saturday at 8:45 AM at the funeral home and continue to Our Lady of the Wayside Church 450 S. Mitchell St. for funeral mass at 9:30 AM.
