Michael E Werderitch

Michael E. Werderitch, 75 years old, of Palatine, Illinois was born March 2, 1949, in Chicago to the late Florence (formerly Choske) and Richard Werderitch and passed away peacefully on Thursday evening at home, February 20, 2025. Mike was the beloved husband of Sara Werderitch (formerly Torres). Mike will be dearly missed and is survived by his brother Kenneth and sister-in-law Donna Werderitch and their daughter, Cindy, and her husband Josh Spence; and his sister Pamela and her husband Gerald Semro, Jr. Mike will also be very missed by Sara’s children, Lilly and Fred, and Sara’s extended family. Mike was a tough floor supervisor at work, but everyone he supervised loved him dearly. In his younger days Mike enjoyed the outdoors, was a skilled hunter and avid fisherman. Mike loved watching football games and detective/police series, he also enjoyed going to classic car shows.

Mike’s Celebration of Life Dinner will be held at Maggiano’s Little Italy Restaurant on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 4 pm at 1901 E. Woodfield Rd, Schaumburg, IL.

There will be a short service prior to the Inurnment of Mike’s ashes on Monday, March 31st, at 10 am, next to his parents’ gravesite at the Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 East Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004.
