

Milton D. Walberg was born January 2, 1934 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota to Carl Robert and Lena (nee Moser) Walberg. He died on November 13, 2022 at his residence in Long Grove, IL.
Milt was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea form 1951 until 1954.
Milton last worked as an Aircraft A & P Mechanic for United Airlines from 1970 until 1997. Before that he was an Electrical Repairman from 1963 until 1970 and prior to that he was an Independent Trucker from 1961 until 1963.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Milt is survived by his son Richard (Barbara) Walberg; his daughter-in-law Tammy Walberg; his grandchildren John (Meghan), Patricia (Alex Flores), Joseph (Kira), Dianna, Caitlin, Charles, William, Emily, Olivia, Sofia and Matthew Walberg and his great-grandchildren Joaquin Flores and Antonio Flores; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his spouse Joan (nee Raleigh) Walberg; his daughter Kathleen Walberg; his son Robert Walberg; his parents as well as his brothers James Walberg and Jerome Walberg.
Visitation Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Glueckert Funeral Home 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004 where prayers will be said on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 9:15am proceeding to St. James Catholic Church 831 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 for a Funeral Mass at 10:00am. Interment to follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
