Nancy L. Frieder-Ledwon

Of Arlington Heights, formerly of Park Ridge

Nancy L. Frieder-Ledwon was born January 28, 1937 in Chicago to Ellsworth and Lucille (nee King) Rice. She died at home Saturday, December 30, 2017 in Arlington Heights.

She was a homemaker who loved being a wife and mother to her three children. Nancy loved to entertain friends, decorate and sew. Nancy loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and was loved by all.

Nancy is survived by her children, Jean (Richard) Granger, Susan (Steve) Gorecki and Richard C. (Adele) Frieder; grandchildren, Matthew (Erin) Granger, Megan (Cris) Carbone, Patricia Gorecki, Daniel Gorecki, Emily (Kevin) Collings, Elise Frieder and Catie Frieder; great-grandchildren, Giovi and Maisie Granger, Eleanor and Quinnlynn Collings; sister Kathleen (Norbert) Gregory; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded into death by her first husband Richard Frieder and second husband Jim Ledwon; and by her parents.

Visitation Friday, January 5, 2018, 9:00 am until the time of the 11:00 Funeral Service at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will be at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Elmhurst.
