

Nancy Ann Miller,Of Palatine, IL and Aurora ILNancy Ann Miller was born June 19, 1925 in Chicago to Oscar and Rosemary (nee Madden) Miller." She died December 25, 2016 at Presence McAuley Manor in Aurora.Nancy joined the Sisters of Mercy order in 1943, where she was known as Sister Mary Jane and served as a teacher, principal and facilities manager. After she left the order in the early 1970s, she continued to teach elementary school." Nancy also served on the boards of her condo association and the AAEC Credit Union. She was an election judge and a representative for teachers in Springfield. As a life long Chicago White Sox fan and season ticket holder, Nancy attended Sox games as long as she was physically able. She loved her cats and participated in St. James Church"s choir.Nancy is preceded in death by her siblings Henry Miller, Ruth Miller (Sister Mary Harold, RSM), and Edward Miller, her nephew Kevin Miller and by her parents Rosemary and Oscar Miller.Nancy is survived by her nieces, Lori Cataldo, Marijo Ratcliffe and Linda Miller, and her great nieces and nephews, Allyson, Elise, Anthony, Natalie, Colin and Carly.Visitation Friday, January 13, 2017 from 9:00 AM until the time of prayers at 10:15 AM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, proceeding to St. James Catholic Church for mass at 11:00 AM."
