Patricia Joan Lundquist, nee Scheele, of Arlington Heights, passed away October 30, 2020, at Northwest Community Hospital. Born June 16, 1936, in Chicago, she was the oldest child of Edward and Florence Scheele

She was an enthusiastic volunteer at Northwest Community Hospital, the Lutheran Home, and at her children's school. She worked as an election judge for many elections.

An avid reader, Patricia enjoyed mysteries and true crime novels, often reading two or three at the same time. She enjoyed traveling with her daughters and experiencing new things. Above all, she loved spending time with her family. A graduate of Farragut High School in Chicago, she continued her love of learning by taking courses at Harper College in Palatine.She is survived by her son, David (Joanne) Lundquist, daughters Ellen (Daniel) Burkhardt, and Lisa (Brad) Doty; her grandchildren Deidre (Kyle) Beausoleil, Rose Beausoleil, John Kinney, Anna Kinney, Alex Burkhardt, Natalie Burkhardt, William Doty and Edward Doty; and her great grandchildren Kane, Kendrick and Kayden, and newborn Rowan.
