

Paul Edward LaunerOf BarringtonPaul Edward Launer was born on July 24, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois to Witold "Bill" and Charlotte (nee Hecker) Launer. He died Friday, July 3, 2015 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington after a four year battle with ALS.Mr. Launer was a Vice President of Worldwide Technology for Northern Trust Bank for eight years. He was the Chief of the Pawnee Tribe of Indian Princess', BASA Soccer Coach, School Volunteer, Co-Captain of Paul Launer's Iron Horse Brigade to Benefit ALS/Les Turner Foundation - his team was the largest in number and fundraising dollars for the last two years. He was an avid sportsman, he played hockey, tennis, scuba dived, skied, snowboarded. He always felt his greatest accomplishment in life was his two daughters.Paul is survived by his wife of 13 years, Kris nee Tetzlaff; his daughters, Aubrey Elizabeth and Sarah Jean, his father Witold (Betty) Launer; his brother Jeff (Rebeca) Launer; step-sister Anita Ekman; his brother-in-law Dave (Kris) Tetzlaff; and his mother-in-law Bonnie Tetzlaff.He is preceded in death by his mother Charlotte and his sister Elizabeth.Visitation Wednesday from 3:00 pm until time of Life Celebration at 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N.
