Phyllis Mary Eichhorn

Phyllis M, Eichhorn was born on February 9, 1920, in Chicago, Ill to Anthony and Phyllis (nee Rizzo) LaPorta. She died Friday, November 17, 2017, at her home. 

Mrs. Eichhorn was a homemaker and proud Mother who lovingly cared for her family.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Matthias J. Eichhorn; her parents, and her eight siblings. 

She is survived by her children Phyllis A. Bolduc, Joseph A. (Linda), Eileen M. (Roger) Nissen, Matthias R. (Mary), Mary Beth, and Anthony J. (Cheryl); her 16 grandchildren, Mary Jo Bolduc, Kathryn (Kevin) DeJovine, Joseph (Rachel) Bolduc, Sharon (Michael) Banish, Joseph (Sara) Eichhorn, Karen (Bertram) Kisselburg, Mark (Mary) Nissen, Colleen (Michael) Kowalewski, Anne (Daniel) Carnduff, Elizabeth (Arnold) Ferdon, Michelle (Joseph) Menges, Kristin (Jay) Danz, Matthias (Ashley) Eichhorn, Mary Eichhorn, Gregory Godlewski and Rachel (Matthew) Fenton; her 28 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jillian, William, Sawyer, Michael, Chloe, Lily, Emmy, Izzy, Frankie, Ava, Riley, Ruby, Grace, Jake, Jack, Dylan, Addie, Zoey, Anthony, Kara, Emree, Easton, Nathan, Cody, Logan, Jaxon, Skylar; and her sister-in-law, Mary (Clarence) Yelk.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois and Wednesday, November 22 at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, Illinois, from 9:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, Illinois.
