

Randy James Roth of Chicago and Arlington Heights, Ill., passed on November 29 after a long illness. In his last few years he was a resident of the Belmont Village in Buffalo Grove, Ill., where he was a close companion of Carole Nye.
Randy had a great command and love for mathematics, completing a masters degree from Northeastern Illinois University. Initially a Chicago public school teacher, he became a highly credentialed actuary achieving a vice president at Kemper Insurance Co. and traveling internationally. He loved horses, the Southwest and playing guitar.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 45 years, Corinne (nee Rogers/Stone); parents, Martin and Rose (nee Hudziak) Roth; and brothers, Robert, Richard, and Roger Roth. He is survived by his son, Steven Andrew Roth of Las Vegas, Nev., and his niece, Regina Roth Rizoli of Milford, Mass.
