As I write this all the great times keep coming back working with Dick. Like the time working at the Mart he would say " sure we can pull all those #10's in that one inch ". When he would walk up to a radiator and say that's to warm as he looked out and thought about all those others working outside when it was freezing. He worked for me on a couple occasions and when he did it was one big laugh fest. After I retired we went to the Retiree's meeting at the hall and ate lunch for a buck. I will never forget Dick because he gave a OD green jacket with the liner that was to big for him but he thought it would fit me, well it didn't but I still have it and wear it when it's cold outside. Rest in peace Dick and hopefully we will meet again.

I will remember Dick as being one of the most influential people in my life. He was always in a great mood. I can still hear his hearty laugh. He always treated everyone with respect and consideration. He was a great teacher and at work had the patience of a saint. I was an apprentice under Dick's supervision. He taught me everything that I needed to know about circuits and whipping wall and ceiling at The Merchandise Mart. Later in our careers he worked for me. He was a hard worker and didn't need much input from me to perform the job I asked him to do.Dick I will raise a Red Dog to you. Due to illness Dolores Schramuk and brother Norbert will not be able to attend the services for Richard. They send their condolences to the family.

I met Dick about 7 years ago. He was one of the greatest persons that I have come into contact with in Cape Coral. It seemed as though we were friends for a life time. That's the way Dick came across. Our friendship grew and grew rapidly. He made everybody laugh and was the comedian in Baruna Bay and we all enjoyed him. He loved fishing on the dock and went out on the boat with his buddy often, which he enjoyed. He and I took on a few electrical projects on the property to which he was the boss and I was his helper. Many laughs, because he always made sure I had the dirty job and to do it for Dick, that was a great feeling. The type of thing you would want to do for such a great guy. Dick, Jerry and I would go to the dog races every Friday, and again his presence was the greatest for Jerry and I. We sure miss him this year at the track, but he is there with us every time and we feel it. I cannot say enough about this great guy, that I have had a very short acquaintance with because I feel that he has been a friend of mine all my life.Dick, you will always be in our thoughts forever.Baruna Bay have done and will always raise our glasses in your name.We miss you very much and will talk about you at every Happy Hour.May GOD bless you and all of your family.Again, "Thanks for the memories" Love You Always Buddy and great Friend.Peter

I remember all the laughs and fun times we had at the used car lot and at my garage on Paulina Street with all of the other guys. There are a lot of good memories. You were one of the best Shark.From Don Biewald
