Rita M. LeMaster

Rita M. LeMaster, 87, of Arlington Heights, passed August 4, 2025. Born in Chicago, IL to John and Margaret (nee Egan) Herman, she married the love of her life Edgar LeMaster and their union was the foundation of a life rich in love and family.

Rita is survived by her loving children, Jill LeMaster, Sharon (Stephen) Griffin, Jack (Karen) LeMaster and Susan LeMaster. Beloved Grandma to Matthew and Caitlin Griffin, and Joseph and Nicholas LeMaster. Loving Aunt to Steven, Daniel, Timothy and Christine. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edgar; her parents and sister, Marilyn.

Visitation for Rita will be held Tuesday, August 12, at 9 AM at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral Mass to follow at 10 AM. Burial will take place at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery, 1185 Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL 60067.
