Robert M. Hower, 84 of Arlington Heights was born July 15, 1932 in Chicago to Elmer and Julia (nee Devereux) Hower and passed away March 17, 2017. Bob was the beloved husband of Marguerite A. “Peggy” ( nee Horne); loving father of Matthew J. (Lisa) Hower, Martin J. (Sharon) Hower, Christine M. (late James) Trausch, Robert J. (Nancy) Hower and Julia A. (George) Carens; cherished grandfather of 14; great-grandfather of 2 and dear brother of James J. (Rosemary) Hower and Rev. William Hower. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 3-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights and Wednesday, March 22 at Holy Family Parish, 2515 W. Palatine Road, Inverness from 9:30 AM until time of the funeral mass 10:30 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Viator High School, 1213 E. Oakton Street, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 appreciated.
